How do I do recharges? Its been too many years and I sure do not remember what to do for recharges.

People ask me if I can recharge for them, but I do not remember what to do to do it. What do I put on my side of a trade / craft window? I have asked the people asking for someone to do recharge for them, but they don't know what it is an alchemist does either. Or they think my skill is too low as to the reason why I do not know what to do. Hey its not a recipe.

I used the search function and got old posts from when Uth had dropped recharge items, and it wasn't something an alchemist could do. But I remembered doing it on live servers. I just can't remember what it was that I did.

I can't post urls because of my post count but if you google "Daoc Alchemy", the ole apothecary should be the first result. Click on the alchemy guide and on the 3rd page near the bottom is a table of the items you need to do the recharge and their cost.

Process is the same as putting a proc on someones item. They open trade, you put the recharge item in and click combine.

My understanding is you can only recharge player made charges not drops.

Does this work on uthgard? Enchanting crafted items with bonus with a spellcrafter does not.

You can only recharge player stuff afaik, using liquid arcanium renewal...

Uthgard - Alchemy - recharge player-made items

arcanium renewal applied to AF 75 charged 10/10 item :

skill level needed 858+ - confirmed 6/25

PC item must be MP to get the 10 charges: but can be a L1 copper short sword/bow/armor for example:
imbued with stable hardening arcanium tincture (L47)


L49 charges still at the 886+ level it would seem likely.

Verified today on Uth 2.0, did not work until I dinged 858 alch. Lvl 47 AF charges.
