I am thinking if a PL from 5-20 costs 150*15= 2pp250gp
a PL from 20 to 30 costs 10*250=2pp500gp
a PL from 30 to 40 costs 10*350= 3pp500gp

If lvl 40 to 50 takes as much time as lvl 5-40 then 40-50 costs 2pp250+2pp500+3pp500=8pp250gp
If we divide by 10 we get 825gp per level.
So 46-50 should be around 4*825=3pp300gp
Pretty fair. I would pay that amount too.
Reminder to Self: Quality over Quantity, what is the Value here?
