i am trying to connect to the server and am having more trouble than its worth, can some one give me a walk through from start to finish on what to download and such? not getting the help i need from the FAQ section

1. Download the DAoC Darkness Rising client (recommended, better performance than the LotM client): http://camelot-europe.goa.com/downloads ... AoC_DR.exe

2. Install it, let it patch up to date (takes some time, 3.4 GB)

3. Download DAoC Portal: http://www.daocportal.net/?page=downloads&file=client

4. Install it

5. Open DAoC Portal, under "File" - "Settings" point it to your DAoC installation. Click "Browse", chose the directory DAoC was installed to - probably "C:\Darkness Rising\"

6. "Close" the settings dialog, Double Click on Uthgard (in the "supporting" part of the server list)

7. Chose an account name and password, remember these, they will be your login details on Uthgard onward.

8. Play, have fun
