Hey there when im trying to patch LOTM with DAOCPORTAL I just get an error message : Error Message (308)

Simply open your update.dat in the DAoC folder with the standard windows editor and delete the content in there. Replace it with the following:

Mythic Patch
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat

After that execute the camelot.exe and hit "update".
However I would recommend to use the Darkness Rising Client.

I went to my folder and i clicked on:

(sorry for such a large pic)

and i get window that says Use the Web service to find the appropriate program or Select the program from a list....which do i choose to get the standard windows editor?

"open with" "editor" or "wordpad"

I opened with Wordpad and replaced it with:

and now the camelot.exe isnt working?

im gonna take it off my comp and download the 14-day trial way...

hopefully theres not the "quote:" inside the .dat

no lol im not that stupid but ya i took it off then tried it that way again and couldnt get anywhere and it popped up but im going to try the trial way ty for ur help!
