Problem with daoc portal.

I have an account that have an underscore _ in it. The problem is that in Daoc portal the username with underscore are invalid....Now i cant connect by daoc portal : ( please help me.
Can i change my username name?
Exist other method to log into the game???
The launcher liink doesnt function.

use uthgard launcher ?
