Hey. I'm not new to Daoc, but I'm new to this server. Before I start playing, I have some questions to ask. They are kind of hard to explain but please try to answer them.

Alright, back when the original Daoc was out and shrouded isles expansion, I played. I loved it, and when I think about it it brings back so many memories. After TOA came out, the game went downhill from there. Some people may like it but I didn't. I quit playing after that. The game got ruined with all of these new graphics, classes, races, areas, etc.

Anyway, I've been looking for a true classic daoc server. With classic graphics, races, classes, areas, etc. So here's some questions.

1. Is this a regular server? You start out on level 1, and play just like regular daoc? This isnt an rvr server or automatic lvl 50 server is it?

2. Old frontiers or new frontiers?

3. Is there any "custom" stuff? Like, modding your items to look like higher level items or whatever.

4. Is there catacombs and TOA areas? Or do the areas just go up to Shrouded Isles?

5. Any catacombs or TOA races or classes? Like, is there any shars, vampiirs, bainshees, whatever?

Edit: 1 more question. Where do you start out in Hibernia as a Celt? I remember starting out in Connia but these private shards usually start out anywhere.

After SI is finished, is this server gonna go past that or stop there?

Edit: And what daoc games/expansions do I need to play this?

the server will stop there. classic shard, so nothing above patch 1.80 too. u need version 1.89 european client to play here,version depends on what u like.

With our perfectionism? I think it will take atleast a few years to do SI until we are satisfied ;<

It doesnt matther, you only have to ensure that you use version 1.89 (at the moment).

Um...sorry, but what's version 1.89? What does that mean?

you have to set up the european english patch server,so u get version 1.89 automatically whenever u start camelot.exe and patch the game. us servers are 1.90/1.91, and those version is not supported here.
