I just installed DAOC up to v.1.91. It was a pain downloaing all of it.Now,learning i can play for free really excites me,how do i rollback the versions(downgrade) to v.1.87 or 1.88?

I'm not to knowledgeable when it comes to emulated servers and how to connect.Is there a step by step guide somewhere.I read the sticky posts,but this is after i installed.Like a dummies guide i suppose.I found those posts kind of vague.Thanks

is it really that hard to use the "search" button on top? ever tried it and put the word "downgrade" in the box? i dont think so. 4th hit :

he Just joined lol, not like he been on the server for a year.

Despite kids like DanGer666, there are quite a few people here who do help others. Yes he could search through the forums, but not everyone is used to looking at forums and may not realize that is something someone could/should do.

As to your question, I don't know of any way to "downgrade" as it were. There should be a link near the top that is "stickied" that will have pretty much step-by-step instructions as to how you can go about installing it. If it were me, I would just uninstall and then reinstall from the link listed in the sticky.

Nothing against DanGer666, but to post in the help forums with nothing other than an insult, well, that's pretty childish. I mean your moniker alone speaks volumes about you.

hey, im not sure if this is going ot be helpful, but i simply went on the official site and got the LOTM game and patched to the lastest i didnt have to worry about getting trial and upgrading, etc. etc. and this was only about a week or three ago, then i downloaded the uthgard launcher and bam., we ready to go.

Thankyou for all the help.I know this reply is a little late,but i was able to downgrade to 1.88.I've been playing and i am really enjoying the game. )
