I cannot connect and trying to figure out which steps I missed.

Steps I took
- Downloaded 14-day Trial of SI (US ver)
- Downloaded 14-day Trail of Catacombs (US ver) Corrupted!
- Downloaded 14-day trial of Atlantis (US ver)
- Installed SI to /Mystic/Isles (default)
- Installed Atlantis to /Mystic/Atlantis (default)
- Changed Update.Dat of both directories to

-Ran the UthgardLauncher
-Set Option path to /Mystic/Atlantis
-Ran update and updeted ~500MB worth of files
-Ran DAoC thru UthgardLauncher
-Got Error Invalid Version. Exited

Is patching the Euro & US version the same?
Did I have to run the update on the SI path also?

change your update.dat to

or to

If all the expansions are stand-alone version and
Uthgard only really support classic and some SI,
why would we download anything else?

The thread on on "How to download DAoC" seems to have us download and install everything (SI, Catacombs/Atlantis, Darkness Rising).

I'll give is another shot tonight when I get home. Thanks for the help and quick response.

Razzer, does it mean I can just download/install the Labyrinth of the Minotaur and nothing else and it will be okay?

The Labyrinth of the Minotaur download is ~ 500MB while the others are +1GB...somehow it doesn't add up in my head that the smaller DL is better than the SI/Catacomb ones...

Okay...lets clear the whiteboard....

Is this the complete steps for a fresh install?
-DL/Install 14 day trial - install as /Mystic/Isles (1.9 GB) Required
-DL/Install Catacombs (1.2 GB) Optional
-DL/Install LabOTMin (500MB) Optional but better graphics AND also REQUIRES Catacombs
-Change Update.dat for all 3 installs
-Run UthgardLauncher and update/patch
-Finish

OR is it as simple as
-DL/Install 14 day trial - install as /Mystic/Isles (1.9 GB) Required
-Change the Update.Dat to point to the LotM

take camelot.exe ... take update.dat ... put them in an empty dir, insert whatever version you want in the update.dat ... run camelot.exe ... wait until all files (3gb ca. for lab) are downloaded ... and go

so, your last point, hits the head

Still having problems, getting a error msg dialog.

Cannot Complete Update
This client cannot update your DAoC installation because a large number of key files is missing or corrupted.

Got it working...but had to update the Atlantis install to work...the initial SI didn't work. Wonder if I can uninstall the SI one now?
