This has been happening alot to me as well. Windows 10

I am pretty sure it started with the H1 2019 update for Windows 10.
Never happened before that, happened all the time ever since. Others I know have a similar experience. I can’t run the game in windowed mode though, since there‘s no way I‘ll play the game in my monitor‘s native resolution and I also won’t change the resolution on the desktop to one that’s better for DAoC. Since setting up the borderless window and making sure never sleep is selected, I have had zero problems with being alt tabbed and crashing.

I also checked on "borderless" under game options in the launcher - since then no more freeze crash or so...
