Verify Email button not working when creating new acct

I am trying to set up a new acct but when I sign in via email through the OPENID portal and get to my Manage Acct page, the button to verify email is not working.

What browser are you using? Can you please try a different browser?

Found solution to this issue by myself when I could not receive account verifying email, because clicking "Verify Email" button simply did not worked.
Try using "Trouble signing in?" option, its available during one of the steps when trying to log in with your email, this will open next window with "Get instructions sent to this email that explain how to reset your password" and of course click "Next". Now log to your email adress and use received link to change your password. Resetting your password this way works same as verifying email, confirmed by me as had same problem and it worked. |

check spam/junk folder/s?

I am using chrome and I checked in FF and the button still does not trigger. I checked spam / junk folders and did not see any emails. The forum buttons work ok.

I was able to use the workaround suggested by Ojczyzna. By using the forgot password process, I used that link in the email to make the password and then when I went to my acct it was verified.
That issue with the button still should be looked at. |

Sometimes workarounds are as good as permanent fixes. Glad it worked for you too.

Looking into this. In the meantime, using other identity providers such as Google, Facebook or Microsoft don't require verifying your email.

Having the same at the mo, didn't try using the reset password link yet. Just set up a forum account and got a "404 - Component not found" error pop up when trying to log in. Maybe it was from trying when already logged in, turned out I was already logged in when going back to the main page and clicking the "Forum" link.

Same thing going on here. I go thru all the steps,First tried email/pw but the verify email button does not work. So I signed out and logged in with my Microsoft account.....Verify email button still does not work. I tried following advice for the work around but I have ZERO links or abilities to reset PW or anything like that. It just dead ends on the log in page. Would love to play but atm I see now way in doing so
![]() I thought it might be a anti virus or browser blocker screwin me up but it is the same on Edge and Chrome. I than jumped onto my Kindle to try and get past the "verify email" page and it does the same thing. Highlights but it is not clickable. |

Workaround suggested by me earlier works when you are using option to log "Sign in with email".
1. Click "Sign in with email" option. Type your email adress which you used to register and click "Next". 2. Now its asking you to type password, do not do it and just look below that window. There is yellow text "Trouble signing in?", click it and it will open "Recover password. Get instructions sent to this email that explain how to reset your password" option. Click "Send". 3. Log to your mailbox and check for "Reset your password for Uthgard" message from <noreply@uthgard.net>. Click link below "Follow this link to reset your Uthgard password for your <example@example.com> account.". After you get redirected, follow instructions to reset your password. Now your Uthgard account should be verified. |
