Sorc level 40 EPIC - Arc of Ages - missing mob?

Yesterday I tried to do this quest with the help of a cabby. We roamed all cardova, I did the emperor quest in Uth1 and know the emperor's room and we didn't find it. The only NPCs we found related are 2 spirits of the emperor, one before the corridor with the fireballs and the second one in the emperor's room.
is there any that needs to be done to make the emperor spawn? It's the thrill of the chase
and I'm coming after you. |

I did it a few weeks back without trouble. The emperor is in the old part of Cardova, not the new lower levels.
When you enter, go at the first crossroad right and down all the way, there's the first mob. The second one is when you go straight at cette crossroad, straight through the next room and when you hit the wall left (only way anyways) |
