Is there a resolution level at which if you go higher you get no benefit? Is the games graphics maxed at a certain resolution for detail etc. Meaning you might as well just play 1440 because anything higher does nothing to enhance graphics.

Would setting the games graphics to your monitors maximum resolution have any effect on load times etc when zoning? As in, its taking more cpu and gpu cycles to fill the screen etc.
