Hello everyone. I am having some issues trying to get Bob's UI to work properly. I downloaded version 1.110 v6.00 Complete. http://bobsui.koamon.com/downloads.html I put the custom folder in my ui folder. Then I went to OptionsChooser and ran it as an administrator. I was able to change the spell/weapon/buff icons fine. That worked perfectly. However, when I click on several options trying to change styles of Command Bar, Quickbar, Floating Target, Clock, Compass....pretty much anything else, i double click and the green arrow goes on the option I choose, but when I go in game none of the changes take place. I have done it when I am logged out of the game completely, rebooted, done several things to make sure the changes take place (I of course changed the skin to custom) but the options don't appear. Anyone know what I can do?

you need to first use the OptionChooser and then copy the folder, else you change things in the wrong directory

There are also a number of settings that don't do anything if you don't change other, related settings. For example, compass border does nothing if you're still using the old compass and don't elect to use the new radial compass. If your styles changed but other things aren't changing, maybe you're running into problems on that front?
Also, I believe there's a requirement to enable a Custom UI from the DAoC character selection screen -- it would make some sense that icons would be able to change without that enabled, but UI elements (like the things you describe) would not. Maybe double check that.

Had this happen too when uthgards install location was moved. Disable read only when you right click on ui folder then place the custom folder inside ui folder and run optionchooser as administrator. When you move the uthgard install location you lose permissions and any change you make doesnt show up ingame

Trying to get it to be vertical instead of horizontal. I got the icons to all change. But the command bar still stays the same. I tried to change things one at a time individually to test out what was working and what wasnt but none of them worked except for the spell/weapon..etc icons from icon pack i used Mystic (New). that worked fine. Also, custom UI is enabled in the character selection screen.

How were you trying to do that? I see how you can make the Command frame vertical or horizontal, but not the Command Bar frame... I only see a variety of horizontal options...

I would try restarting from scratch by wiping the \custom\ folder (after doing a backup of any manual changes you would have made to the files) and relaunching the OptionChooser. On my computer, OptionChooser.exe is in this \custom\ folder and I can do the changes directly there, I don't have to do it in another directory and copy/paste. Then, changes a couple options, and check whether the corresponding .xml files are actually changed in the folder. There are some files with self explanatory names that you could use for the test, like minipet.xml. If they are actually altered when you do something in OptionsChooser.exe, then check in game again. In C:\Users\Myself\AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\uth2\user.dat, I have: - Code: Select all
[interface] item1=8
Which I assume corresponds to the UI mode being set to "custom" in the game settings. You've already checked that in game, but maybe it's worth having a look at this section in your user.dat and try renaming the file (to keep a backup and automatically generate a new one), just in case.

There are two folders. One marked command bar, one marked command. I changed command to the vertical option.

Unfortunately I've already tried exhaustively relaunching everything to no avail. Optionschooser is in my custom folder always. I've never seen it another way.

Does anyone have Discord? Maybe it would be easier to discuss like that
