Hi everyone,

I've run into some problems. If only it had been any other window I might have been able to work around it, but my summary window (the one that displays your health among other things) have gone missing - as the ONLY thing, and I can't figure out what happened. It's happened before, but a few quit+relog's seemed to cure the issue. I've relogged and quit more then 5 times now and it's still not back so I decided to look elsewhere.
I started by disabling the custom UI i am using (Bob's) thinking that would do it, but it didn't help. I tried to locate a charactername.ini file in my daoc folder, but couldn't - and I tried adding "<Include>summary.xml</Include>" and " <Include>summery-window.xml</Include>" to the uimain.xml file too without any result.
So I thought I'd just reset the entire interface and just set it up anew, but I have no clue which file(s) to delete to achieve this. I'm affraid to delete something that the game doesn't run without seeing as I have very limited insight into DAoC's more technical aspect. Tried google but the only thing i find are posts about loosing settings by accident, instead of forced resets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's abit difficult to do anything without a health display :)

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\uth2

I hope that helps :)

I appreciate the fast response, but it's not helping me much I'm affraid. Going to the C drive and into users I find that I have no AppData folder which also means that the other folders aren't there :/
I've searched both my discs to make sure it wasn't somewhere else and it doesn't appear to be.

Do I really need to reinstall the entire game, for a frikkin' summary window on holiday? :)

Appdata is a hidden folder, so you will have to R+Click whatever folder is the deepest you can get to and tell it to show hidden folders.

Or you can use this method which I copied from another thread on these forums:

Ebenezer wrote:Hit Start button, or open a run box (win+R) and type %appdata% and hit enter (include the percent signs)
A File Explorer window will open directly in the Appdata\Roaming folder for the current logged in user (You), despite it being a hidden folder. None of the folders below that are hidden, so you can already see the Electronic Arts folder, and browse from there.

Is there a file or folder you can delete to bring the UI completly back to scratch, like it was you first ever login? It doesn't matter if it wipes keybinds etc too - whatever reset will work....

*** EDIT ***
Right, got it fixed. Enabled the ability to see hidden files n folders ofc, then went into the uth2 folder and simply deleted the 2 characname files. That reetted the UI properly. What a mess...

Thanks again for your assistance!
