I startet Uthgard account manager, pressing play the patching client window shoes up an than nothing more. nothing start´s up. But strange thing is if i pres the play button again i´t says DaoC runns allready but at task manager is nothing.
Any ideas?

ok got game running now after 10times to try but what to do next trying again 40mins?

I still have problems to log into game, anyone ideas?

I have exactly the same problem. First time i log in it works but when i log off and i want to log in again or after a ld, i press play and nothing happens. When i open the task manager, a dark age of camelot process is running. I kill the process and try to log in, sometimes it doesn't work and sometimes it does. Any clue ?

When you LD, you are locked out from logging in another copy of Uthgard for ~ 2 minutes. You can just wait or kill the first task with task manager or resume it with resource monitor.

HOWEVER, if you start another copy in less than 2 minutes, the lockout timer starts again, SO... if you try to get in every 60 to 90 seconds or so, you will never get back in!

Thats not my problem, the prob i have is at first try to enter the game
Anyone a idea what i can do?

I have had many, many problems with the site launcher used here. I have tried 3 different browsers hoping that one would work over the others when this kind of issue crops up and usually doesn't.

It has sometimes taken me 20 times to actually get the site browsers to actually launch the game. I don't recall the responses i have gotten from players/staff, but the only thing that worked was time, and many repeated tries. Luckily I haven't had this issue for a while now, and i don't believe it is an issue on your part as i have had it to, but rather an issue with the use of a site browser over the standard desktop. Every time there is an issue with the site you are going to have a hard time getting into the game.

I had the same issue, so I logged out of the web page, rebooted my PC and logged back in and did the make admin thingy. No more problems

or maby give back the option to connect via daocportal, so have both options. (i dont know if possible)

You can also open your ask manager and ensure no "uth.dll" is running under the "processes" or "details" tab

Das Problem warum ich diesen treat eigentlich eröffnet hatte betrifft nich wie die nachfolgenden Leute das einloggen nach einem ld sondern das aller erste mal des einloggens. Wie oben geschrieben kann ich auch via task manager das spiel nicht aktiv finden da nichts läuft. Der popup sagt aber es würde laufen.
Das seltsamste an dem Problem ist das es nicht immer auftritt, manchmal klappt es auf Anhieb aber in 80 Prozent der Fälle sitze ich halt da und verbringe 10 bis 40 mins beim einloggen.
