Was told by a player this was prohibited, but not seeing in the rules where that is true??? Is it true you cant use LFG to recruit for your guild? If so, I shall stop. Just wasnt seeing it anywhere as a violation.

that is a correct statement, /lfg channel is for setting up groups for xp and rvr, not reporting enemy locations or bg information, or selling or anything else!

if you violate that rule you CAN get the lfg channel taken away for a period of time!

I get that, just seems really odd since you cant say anything in LFG but once every 5 minutes or what not so you cant spam. And not sure how recruiting for a guild is such a terrible thing? I mean, trying to grow a guild and build up a player base is not a bad thing or at least you wouldnt think it is??? I usually say Rules are rules and Im glad theyre there, but in this case (not being able to recruit for your guild, which has never been a violation of any TOS or any EULA) its really silly to have a rule that says you cant. So If I broadcast in Jord, is that a violation too? If I do /who Level and directly send tells to lower level toons talking to them about joining our guild, is that a violation? Im curious to know if its just a violation to recruit for a guild period on this server or just in /LFG

/lfg has the purpose to help building up groups. There should be no other spam inbetween. You can still use /broad in a town or do it in a border keep to reach players.
