Realm transfer

Looking for some information about realm transfer without deleting chars please. I am under the impression it is possible but switching activates a 7 day DAoC cooldown. I have been scouring the forums trying to get smart on it and would like to know how it works.

it takes 7 days, you can keep playing your original realm until the last 8 hours, after that 8 hours you will log in your destination realm leaving behind the account of your previous realm with ALL the characters you played in that realm. You have to delete your characters ONLY if you want to transfer immediately.
