Patcher update problem

Just started playing here for a week and then ran into some strange hardware problems. In short, everything is fine, but I had to reinstall windows. DAOC installed, Uthgard launcher installed. When I run the launcher, it starts normally, asking for admin to patch the client.
Shortly into the patch, i get a pop error "an exception occurred during a websclient request". I click ok and the patcher continues, however it goes from 155mb remaining to over 300mb remaining. It does keep patching until 48% or 50% and then it just stops. I have restarted the launcher several times and it always stops at either 48% or 50%. In my latest attempt, it gets stuck at 0%. I have restarted the launcher while it is still patching. After admin permission, I get the following message: "Something went wrong during patching. Sorry ;( -- We encountered this error: Failed to download file "ui/atlantis/albmap.tga": One or more errors occurred. An exception occurred during a WebClient request." I have googled for this problem, but there doesn't seem to be a clear fix for it, other then to keep trying to patch or disable antivirus. ATM I don't have an AV installed, and windows defender is currently disabled. I have also tried patching back to live version and attempted repatching to Uthgard several times. After two days of troubleshooting, I am not sure what else to do to fix this issue. |

Problem fixed.
I was troubleshooting some networking problems I have been having. For some reason my router (netduma) was preventing the patcher from doing its job. Unplugged my router and plugged straight into my modem and figured what the hell, I might as well try to patch again, and it worked. |
