I have been grouped with a few 8 man groups (mid) in the last few weeks.

There are certain guilds and groups I have been in a few times who are clearly Xrealming.

They will discuss (on voice) how many Albs or hibs may be in the various zones and the decide where to roll out based on that knowledge.

E.g... 'guys there are 21 hibs in hadriens, or 16 albs in email, let's port hadriens'

Seems to me in most cases this is probably done using another installation / account over a VPN (due to the instant nature of the feedback) but I suppose it could be IRC friends / some other mechanism.

Obviously I can provide the names of the guilds / players but due to all the coms being outside of DAOC (discord / teamspeak) that won't prove anything.

I could provide recordings of screen & discord but still that is not definitive proof of anything as there is no direct link between voice / character etc.

So I suppose my question is... what, if anything, can I do to help the devs combat this when I see (hear) it on a 3rd party tool? Or am I best just to let it be and move on given how difficult it is to prove?

I suppose it's not that damaging to the server but I just feel really dirty when I'm in a group that is doing this...

Noone needs a VPN for that.
Easiest is to just watch twitch to know how many grps are out in a specific zone. You have a time delay but if a grp is there on the stream they most likely will be there 10min later. Also you can see how many other grps are out just by watching the kill msg in streams

Otherwise you just join their team speak or Discord channel and ask where they are or to do /who emain.
That's how it works not much gms can do about it.

Yeah these are definitely /who results (exact counts) all the time.

Oh well, if nothing to be done then I'll just ignore it. Just feels a bit ****** that's all.
