I used to play on this server when you used the DAoCPortal to enter the server. I used a password and username to do so registered under my email address. however this no longer works and when I launch the new patcher it told me to login with my OpenID. Stupidly I re-registered the same email address by mistake not really thinking it was going to affect the game client login as it was before.

Please help me I just wanted to see my old chars again

You can't reconnect to your old characters. The characters were wiped before the server was brought back up.

Why on earth did they wipe them? I recently restarted an old freeshard mmo and my chars were still there from 2005 no excuse for deleting that data thats just lazy and shameful. Dont think I can be bothered redoing RR5+lvl 50 across the 4 chars I had at that respective rank and level.
