I have comcast and I cannot connect to website or launcher. Please help. When I click launcher it says "Could not check for launcher updates. The remote name could not be resolved: launcher.uthgard.org"

Hmm, another player reported that changing their DNS to google's public one fixed the issue.

You might also try flushing your DNS and then restarting your computer.

I will follow up if I learn more.

Changing DNS did not help. Multiple players are all experiencing this. Now when I try to connect to your website even it says: "Uthgard's server DNS address could not be found"

I am in Canada using TELUS. I am getting the same issue when trying to hit Uthgard.org.

I can hit Uthgard.net/forum with no problem.

I'm at work right now so can't do the standard troubleshooting I'd like but when I get home it will be:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /all
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

netsh int ip set dns
netsh winsock reset

Hopefully this is something that was changed on server side..

Tried it all. Nothing. Still not able to connect as of this morning

Removing workaround to avoid confusing people.

Same issue for me, Comcast (Xfinity) in central U.S.

Would prefer not to have to monkey with the settings; was working just fine up through yesterday . . .

I can't post the full urls for uthgard but the file exists at C:\\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
