So if a previous account someone had as a Master Account was Banned. But said account is still sitting in Limbo but cannot be used. That person has to create a new Master Account to play? Or would that be Against the rules? Because you cant use the Previous Master Account, But it is still there?

Perma ban = you are not allowed on uthgard anymore. Not even with a new account. If they find out its you -> insta ban again

Permanent bans are only for the master account. You can create a new account, however this only applies to permanent bans. Creating a new account during a temporary ban would be an additional rule violation.

If we lifetime ban you, you will be informed.

And how long does this temporary ban last?

Frankly I'm starting to think between the political correctness of this server... and how Un-1.65 like it actually is that the whole thing is a big waste of time. 1.65 supported multiple accounts/bots/had SI/crafting vendors/working dragons with respec stones/damage-less lava/better drop rates/no qbind/less hot bars/lower resolutions/no autoloot/ect.

I mean I rolled a damn Mid account simply to see how the lag was compared to Albion due to how totally unplayble Alb was at the time. Played it one day. (There was zero lag BTW which ****** me off.) Quit and came back 2 weeks later after the Albion lag was fixed. There is no option to delete other accounts might I add. Hell with all the bug fixing and server issues we were having at the time there should still have been a Beta tag attached to allow for more testing. Hell I still have accounts from 2010 attached to old email addresses. I generally made a new account each time I came back to Uthgard to reflect my updated email.

Long story short I'm sitting here suspended because of Albion being unplayable at the time and simply wanting to see if Mid was having the same issue or not without deleting every toon. That seems beyond anal to me. The other account saw all of 6 hours of play.. and had not been logged since then. Hell it would never had been made in the first place if the server actually worked. After that I have exclusively played the main account. Not sure exactly why you guys are being such sticklers to such a minor thing on a server that is basically illegal and a law suit waiting to happen. We're all pirates here why do we have more rules than live?

I mean damn I'm not botting, I'm not xrealming, what gives? Why is the letter of the law more important than the spirit of the law on a damn pirate server? We have people glitching relics through the floor and into DF... and yet the guy who lag tested another realm is the one that gets suspended.

Two issues here:

a) You are not allowed to own or use 2 master accounts
b) You logged into Midgard as Alb without using the realm transfer feature using your second account which is by definition xrealming

Both points can get you banned as its against the rules you accepted.

a) I'd love to simply delete the other masters and move on. I have no option to do so. I have no access to those old emails either.
b) I only logged onto Mid because Albion was not working. I was considering deleting Alb's and going Mid but ended up so disgusted with the whole thing that I quit, and came back with a level head 2 weeks later after things were fixed.
c) I'm simply trying to play the game normally and am being punished now for what amounts to a rage quit due to the server not being stable at launch man.
d) I made a bad call in making that second account. I get it, I was ****** because I waited 3 years and the blasted game wasn't working if you were playing Alb. With all the people running around with a bot stuck to their ass it seems overboard to ban a guy who made a level 7 shammy to see if it was worth deleting 2 weeks worth of work to avoid the lag monster.

There are relatively simple rules to follow. Respect them and you will not have to cry on the fact that you were banned, that's it. OMG.

The spirit of that rule is obviously because they don't want people making buffbot accounts, self PL'ing, or Xrealming though. I wasn't doing any of that I was legitimatly checking to see if Mid was the same lag fest Alb was so I knew to swap realm or not. I ended up quitting and playing Elysium until the lag was fixed so I could get back to leveling my necro. No harm was done, nor was intended.

At this point I just want to know how long the Suspensions are for so I can get back to playing WoW until it's over without having to check up on it. Or if it's long enough that I don't need to bother.

Again this would not have happened if the blasted thing worked to begin with. Dealing with 10+ second of cast lag will drive anyone crazy. I declare temporary insanity as my defense. DAoC PvE is frustrating enough to deal with without having to fight disappearing mobs, and massive lag.

On a related note.

I made an account for my daughter, we both played same realm. And she made it to lvl 5 before she gave up. I deleted my characters and moved to Hib, and later did the same with hers (no dual-logging) and made 2 chars with the same names.
So now I technically have control of two accounts, which are not linked, but one of them will only see play if she decides to play again.

Not really sure how to manage it. When the account is logged in, she is playing it (apart from when I deleted and made new characters in Hib), with me sitting next to her.

So there's never been x-realming involved, or any attempt to bypass the 1 week transfer (since I deleted chars instead).

Hell I just wish the option to delete extra master accounts existed. Cause after you have made one, you're basically dicked. Even if you wanted to get rid of it you can't.

As well as the option to change emails. Sucks having an account tied to an email you no longer have possession of. (Ex wives kind of suck.)

People that have nothing better to do with themselves than gloat at people that received a silly suspension on a DAoC freeshard should probably reconsider their life priorities.

I'm sorry this happened Ledric. The toxicity level has risen to an all time high. People are actually happy to see people get banned. I've been constantly appealed since relaunch for just about everything, and they just kicked me from the starter guild for bad language. And I've been pretty good tonight, so I honestly have no idea why they want to kick me. Why would people even want to appeal me? We have /filter /ignore /rpfilter and you can turn off /gc .

In my case, and the case with a few others that been kicked lately, you just get a whole bunch of /appealers /appealing you regularly until Admins get annoyed and kick you. These new players shouldn't dictate who is allowed in starter guild by /appealing people every time they say something that can be construed in to offensive.

Just in general these Admins have been snap happy. Not friendly, not fun, like they are working a job they hate and are on the verge of ragequiting.
