My wife just got a nice iMac desktop computer with a big screen and I would love to be able to play DAOC from it rather than using my 15" laptop. I know it can be done, but I'm not entirely sure how. I'm computer knowledgable but not a guru, so simple explanations would help. From what I can gather, I need to boot Windows on the Mac somehow, which I'm not even sure how to do. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

You can also run it as a VM but only with bootcamp are you able to run native windows.
For bootcamp, it's a utility inside utilities group on the Mac. Just use the spotlight to find it. It will require a licensed copy of windows and therefore have a DVD on hand or iso. If you install anything older than Win10 you will likely need to install the .Net but just check the tutorials section here. Links to all files you will need are there. If you have a custom UI, just copy that over and any character .ini files and you're golden. -----

Bootcamp is the way to go ... that's how I'm playing on my MacPro.
