So Since I have a AMD video card, I use Plays.TV as a recording software since it is bundled with the AMD software. I haven't had any problems with the software except when it comes to Uthgard DAoC.

Currently it seems to stop recording at random intervals. I haven't found any correlation between what I'm doing in game and when it stops recording. My main question is, is there anything within the Uthgard files that would cause this? Any type of script or program that is run that could possibly interfere with recording software?

I have a suspicion that this is a problem with the Plays.TV software but wanna make sure first before I head over to their forums.

I've pretty much stopped using Plays.tv for Uthgard recording. Completely unreliable. Instead, using OBS to record my gameplay. Requires me to convert so I can edit in Sony Vegas 13 but at least won't stop recording in random intervals.

You can change OBS to record as mp4 by changing the file path to something along the lines of "Z:\open broadcaster recordings\.mp4" or whatever folder you want to save them to. Also change the replay buffer file path to end with "\Replay-$T.mp4"

That should save you from converting. I hope?

EDIT : I don't suppose you have a spare copy of vegas do you? :)
My mind’s made up, don’t confuse me with facts.
You mustn't assume that your personal situation is a reflection of every other person that has logged in to Uthgard.

Awesome, I will try this out and see.

I found my copy from a youtube video with link in the description. Will see if I can find it for you.

if you have win10:
why don't you try the build-in capture software (Xbox Game Bar)?
start it with windowskey + G

no installation, works

Not running win 10. Running win 7. Thanks though for the info.

Just another update. Apparently AMD dropped raptr as a partner and instituted a new recording software direct from AMd, ReLive. Apparently from everything I'm reading, it seems better and easier to configure and use than nVidea Shadowplay.

So any AMD video card users can use this software. Will test it out and let you know if I have any problems with Uthgard.
