on startup launcher i get this :

connection to uthgard failed
updater was unable to connect to uthgard
the server has committed a protocol violation
section=ResponseStatusLine

double checked the
framework 4.6 and c++ x 86

ran as admin
also pretty sure its not being blocked by firewall

what to do with this?

For now click cancel and go into game, I got the same error

I clicked cancel and I can get in. But I came here to notify admins also, good job guys

Yes if yit be click cancel it will get you into the game

it may work for ppl who already got past this i gues,

im setting this up for the 1st time and retry or cancel does nothing..even after 10 tries it doesnt seem to load anything

what ive done so far, download entire new daoc from official server in a new map
done the updates etc
downloaded uthgard launcher
on starting uthgard launcher i stil get this error and never got past this.

when uthgard launcher finally works i assume u point that to your game.dll and it wil patch and load game right?

any advice?

I'm having the same issue (trying to play for the first time today and can't get past the launcher update.

Seems to be an issue with the launcher files on the server since the launcher download link is also currently broken.

I reset my login token and it seemed to work for me.

I used to be able to get passed this but now I just cannot connect to the server at all. Hope there's some updates soon.

Happening for me too. First time I was able to connect to the game. After 20 minutes, the program just closed without any warning or error message. Now I can't connect at all.

it seems to be working now, atleast for me.

Sometimes, when I Cancel, I can enter the server.

Else, it's an error message :



And I can't download at all the launcher.
