Hi,

after creating the Masteraccount, i downloaded the Uthgard Launcher. I launched it, went to the "Login flow" and entered my token. After that i clicked "continue"... and nothing happens.



The Screen stays as it is, i cant close it, cant move it on my Monitor... it has just "hang up". No errormessage or anything else and i need the taskmanager to force the launcher to close.

I tried reinstalling the launcher, tried it on Windows Administrator-account as on normal account, nothing helps.

System is Windows 10, all updates installed. No Antivirus Software installed beside Windows Defender, no Firewall installed beside Windows Firewall. Network has a AVM Fritzbox 7490 Router.

Did you set your game path location before hit [connect] ?

yes i did. Just forgot to write this here. Original game Client was downloaded and patched, camelot.exe path entered into settings of launcher.

just a guess, try to install the launcher inside of daoc installation path
had no problems at all doing so

Not much happens in that code path except making sure you entered a correct token, and closing the form. Can you try...

(a) rebooting
(b) make sure you have .NET 4.6 installed
(c) there is nothing in your network setup preventing you from connecting to Uthgard, because that is pretty much the next step

(a) I tried several reboots, did not help

(b) .NET 4.6.1 is installed

(c) i tried running Uthgard Launcher from a different PC in my Network (also Win 10 with all updates installed, only with Windows Defender and Windows Firewall, no other Securityproducts installed) and ran into the same problem. I also tried the Uthgard Launcher on both PC with a different Masteraccounttoken (the one my Wife ownes)... problem stays the same. Login-Flow Window freezes after entering token and pressing "continue" on both PC.

So maybe there is a problem with my network? Beside that problem with the Uthgard Launcher i have no other (known)problems with my network. All working fine... Internet conection is DSL with 50.000 mbit/s and very stable (middle of Germany). All PC in my network have fixed IP-Adresses with no known Problems, all PC can see each other in the Network and have internetaccess. The Router (AVM Fritzbox 7490) is just a month old and works fine, Firmware is up to date 06.51). UPnP is active.

Edit: btw, i tried it with Windows Firewall deactivated. Problem stays the same.

Any suggestions? Maybe some ports that i need to open in the router manually? Thank you very much for your help!

i have the same problem and have tried on 3 different pcs

all are up to date with framework

my other thread was closed.

Can you try opening TCP ports 10300 to 10310? (or, if you have to add each port individually, try 10300, 10301, and 10310)

Hi,

i opened and forwarded the TCP Ports 10300 to 10310 to my PC. No difference, problem stays the same. Launcher freezes on Loginflow Window...

Maybe your antivirus prevents the connection?

Have added everything to do with Camelot/Uthgard as an exception. I have also switched off Anti virus completely, still the same, hangs after entering login token.

Have done all previous actions in this thread.

Hi,

Anti-Virus (Windows Defender) disabled, Firewall (Windows-Firewall) disabled. Same Problem, freeze on Login-Flow Window.

i found the solution for my poblem! Copy and paste the token handish into the launcher and DONT use the "copy token to clipboard" button. Using the copy button Forces the launcher to freeze in Login-Flow Window. copy handish works for me, the launcher does not freeze anymore.
