Newcomer to daoc as of yesterday, but the game is disappointingly choppy no matter how my settings are set up. Pretty sure my computer does more than meet the recommended specs: intel i5 quadcore, 8gigs ram, radeon 6970 2gb. It sort of feels like its a graphics issue, but I can play dayz smoothly on high graphics but not this?

Ive tried highest framerate settings, tried changing resolution, I've reinstalled. Please help resolve this issue =/

update your graphic driver (catalyst) to the newest version. there was a problem with a certain catalyst version that caused massive frame drop.

i have 13.9, know if thats the latest?

the newest is 13.12, was at 12.9 before that i believe

Long shot here, but an older version of f.lux would chop up my fps. Hope that could help.

I repeat, I would try 13.4. Many people have reported that 13.4 is the most recent driver that doesn't cause these problems with DAOC. There are several threads about it on PostCount.
