hey guys,

my daoc is crashing to desktop after 5-10 seconds when im hitting the play button. the funny thing is, if im creating a new character, everything works fine. just my old lvl 50 characters are not working that way.

im using windows 8.1 atm and under 8 it was the same problem. on my win xp PC everything works fine and I even tried the char-ini's from that win xp-PC on my win 8.1-PC, too. didnt work.

i even tried to replace two mpk files which was refered to this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=15&t=31107

And it seems, somebody had that problem before:

somebody have an idea?

Thanks Abydos! Disabling the touchscreen in the system control panel (USB 2.0 device/controller) was the solution. Makes no sense, but it works now
