i have daoc portal v2.8c NET 3.5 /4.5 game dll 1.109 or 1.113 and can´t connect
please help me! (Error Accessing User Account) |

I see an error in the logs but unfortunately not enough information to track it down. So it can take another reboot to find the reason. Make sure TCP ports 10300-10310 and UDP port 10400 are open in your firewall.

That's exactly whats is happend to me right now . I took a break for some weeks cause had to study for exams. Now i came back to game and cant logg in cause its say exactlye the same: Error Accesing User Account. Im runnung with 1.109 version! Need to fix or some help for this. I will check ports anyways and will tell you !

yes... did something change in the last few days? I get the same message... been playin here for years. ports open.

You could also try to update to live and let DAoCPortal patch back to 1.113. Could work if you use 1.109.

I was just ongame few days ago ( or less)... I didn't notice any reports of upgrades/downgrades or any changes.
I am really not too sure on what to do next... do I remove my game.dll and try to patch thru live? I have surfed to daocportal website but I keep getting a red popup box telling me (daocportal setup file are missing, try another file)!??? Is there a sticky somewhere to refresh my memory ...or will I have to reinstall from scratch? |

Hi , ports are open and everything is already patched. But still cant logg in the game. Thats really frustating cause now its my holydays time and cant play with my friends. If anyone knows or find any solution plz tell me. Thx

I resolved my issue(s)
I was running the 1.109 version from a "Mythic" folder in my root C: drive on a new windows7 comp. ( even though I still have the problem on XP-home and vista comps - they all have the same folder, I have been using it for years on Uth, which is my original mythic folder from live when it came out). I finally broke down and installed the game again using the "Downloads" page here and the Dawn of Light site. It loaded up, patched, fixes... and back in the game with ver. 1.113... I think? I still kept the old folder.... so I am now being lazy, trying to find out where my 'old icon' zip file is -  .. heh, I am partial to the classic 'look'.I hope fearn and sanchez resolve the issue also. If you guys do something that fixes it, please post results;)!? Thanks Blue for replying so promptly - <two thumbs up> |

Ok Tolwyn. I will try to get new Daoc from donwloads and try if it works. Thx a lot for that info. I will tell ya if it finally works

Should be enough to start camelot.exe and let it patch. Then connect with DAoCPortal 2.8c. Hope it works.

Hi again . I donwloaded a new daoc client from this website. Run the patcher and full upgrade the new client . Whem i tried to set the new client on DaoCPortal it says that the client info is invalid and cant connect to the server. I really dont know what to do. My old client dont works saying that Error Accesing Account and the new client seems invalid and it was donwloaded from here.. This is beeing really frustate.
