Sorry, I couldnt find a post that mentioned this topic.
I recently saw a posting somewhere that mentioned the ability to pull our characters from our old daoc accounts and put them in Uthgard. Is this somehow possible?

No. Uthgard is completely it's own server. Old chars on uthgard will remain - we have had a stable server for MANY years without a wipe. (I Think 2004 or 2005 was the last time)
