When I log in, the following message comes CONSTANTLY every 1 min:

you must use uthgard's batch files on downloads section.

check it please.

ps. i think that message problem is caused by dolloader.exe file.
older batch file has used dolloader.exe file for connecting to server.
but now, we need a connect.exe file for it.

That could fix the problem. Haven't changed my Batchfiles for 5 years.

For what its worth, you can use "shortcuts" to accomplish the same thing only your passwords are stored more securely than a plain text file. To create a shortcut, right click Uthgard in daocportal and choose 'create shortcut'.

Shortcut didn't work in latest versions. Not sure if Metty fixed it but it was related to Linux being unable to use a certain function.

You have to use connect.exe in batch files. dolloader will be switched off soon and causes this message. Basically if you still see that message you will not be able to connect at all in the near future.

I had this same messages short time ago and the only problem was an unsupported custom ui

My DAoC Folder is a pretty big mess.

Again for DUmmies like me:
Within my Folder there is the "client" folder. Inside are my 50000 Batchfiles with connects. And the (I guess) old dolloader.exe. But I don't have a connect.exe and the Uthgard downloads only contain the batch textfile.

What should I do now?

AH, the connect.exe is within the PORTAL folder!

- Bugfix: "Create Shortcut" should now work again

I still recommend using DAOCPortal shortcuts, not batch file as your password is stored more securely in an encrypted file.

I never liked DAoC Portal, although I know it's more secure.

And I can't use it anyways, since my pws are often too long for Portal
