Hello! When sticking to a person I'm slowly falling behind and it's making group rvr quite annoying. I'm not encumbered and alt + p is all green. Fights also don't seem laggy. What might be the problem?

Yesterday found out that another player has the same issue. Only thing we have in common is that we recently (few days ago) downloaded and installed daoc again.

We heard that this happened to 1.113 users. We do not know why it happens. Probably speed changed in clients so newer clients run slower. That would force us to set the minimum version of all players to 1.113.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

i tryed everything now... installed daoc again, installed/changed the ui, checked my internet connection and the mtu.

dunno what to do now but it is very annoying.

Hello,

possible that this is a prob with 1.113 client. Some days ago i logged in with a 1.113 client and played in for an hour or so in Stonehenge. I had massive problems with that 1.113 Client. Many Mobs disapeared randomly from one second to the other and stayed invisible for some seconds, then returned, stayed visible for some time, disapeared again...

It seems to me, there is a timing problem between 1.113 client and server in some way. Also interesting was, that with 1.113 client, my connectionstatus often went red, but without loss of connection.

Maybe the speedprob has to do with that too?

So please dont set minimum version to 1.113 before that prob has been cleared... its really unplayable with all that mobs disappearing 8O

I have this same problem. Ping is fine, trace route is fine. Tried 2 different pc's and 3 different graphics cards nividea and amd, still the same problem. It's a real pain in rvr.

I have the same problem also of speed when sticked.

And i upploaded my game recently to the newest version.

So it must be a problem of version indeed.

Let's pray to god we won't be forced to use the actual client version. Another solution would be nice, but well I could totally understand it if there wouldnt be a workaround possible.

Why is it such a big deal to you? With everyone on the same version it is easier to optimize for things like lag ghosting.

Never change a running system :!: Actually it's not that big of a deal ... just my UI bugging around with those "-1" for endu/health/mana bars of grp- and targetwindows

But I guess someone gave me a hint once on how to fix that.

-1 is easily fixed.
replace

<DontDrawWhenZero>true</DontDrawWhenZero>

with

<DontDrawWhenNegOne>true</DontDrawWhenNegOne>

On the plus side, supporting only one version means it is even easier to prevent radar, autohunting and other tools.

Thank you very much Aby. Gonna try it with new client when I'm at home!

As I said I can totally understand that. I'm just afraid of changes at any times ... somehow always some problems arise then

From our perspective, we've got most users on 1.109, with 1.113 being the second most popular version, and a smattering of other various versions. Clearly 1.113 support is required 8)

In which folder should that be?
