I tried to play DAoC on my work network thinking I might get some crafting done while working or something. However, it appears I may be blocked. I can access uthgard.net fine via a web browser but if I try to run DAoC portal it won't download the server list. I also opened command prompt and tried to ping and trace the IP 88.198.56.21 and it times out. The tracert times out on step 2 so I assume it is blocked somehow?

For more information, please post the entirety of your tracert.exe dump. However, considering the second hop timed out, I'm guessing that EITHER your work place is blocking outgoing ICMP packets (or a certain port range) entirely OR the gateway is configured to deny access to the Uthgard server specifically.

In addition, the web server is physically separate from the game server (IPs 62.75.143.122 and 88.198.56.21 respectively), so being able to access Uthgard.net is a completely different issue. If you want to make sure, try a tracert run on each of those.
