This made me curious does your spec affect the amount you are healed for by a HoT spell?
I have noticed while playing my mentalist that some ticks of his HoT will heal for more then others but its hard to tell sometimes as you don't see for how much you are healing.

I was trying to find somewhere what effects the variance of your HoT but this might be even better if I'm interpreting this correctly, What it looks like to me is that the more you have in your spec (for example a mentalist= mana spec) the more that your HoT will acually heal for?? The reason i would like to know is that i've been told and read that +mana for a mentalist is not worth it or has little value. . .

So if anyone knows whether or not HoT is OR should be affected by your spec it would be nice to know.

Thats what i initially thought but looked like some ticks healed for more or critical-ed when i would heal with my HoT, and then i saw this in a early patch note .... so had to ask to if anyone knows what to make of it, as i dont have any idea how to test and see if HoT has variance and/or can critical as you can't see for how much your healing for.... thinking about my menty makes me want to
