I dont use proxy,Trish
![]() I also checked firewall, programs expcetions, there is IRC allowed and i run IRC chat client as administrator. I have an idea, adress is blocked by provider as suspicious? But AFAIK i was on IRC w/o problem few months back. BTW I have broadband connection and using W7 64 home. |

The most likely cause for this is that someone else is sharing that IP address (university, dorm, other people in the house?) and got you g-lined for something he committed. If your IP is static (i.e. doesn't change) there is nothing you can do but wait until the ban expires or use a proxy/another location to use Quakenet. If your ISP assigns you dynamic IPs, you could always manually perform a DHCP release (if you don't know what I'm talking about, turn off your router/modem, wait for about 60s, then turn them on again) and see if that solves your issue.

Connection is shared, other users (parents) are common users,i doubt they are doing suspicious things with their laptop
![]() I tried restart modem and router, but it doesnt help. I will wait one week and try join irc again. |
