Melee Style Miss Rate OOControl!!

I have a lowbie skald that I currently have spec'd into the sword line and I have a question/concern that I would like to voice.
I have noticed that whenever I try to use the Frost Cut ability...immediately (< 1 second delay) after blocking even...the miss rate of the ability appears to be around 70+%. Even with the side position ability (I forget the name); it appears to have a very high miss rate...even though the target is CC'd... Is this issue exhibited with all of the melee classes or just the skald? If it is just the skald, then I will be rerolling...again... ::sigh:: FYI; I am fighting blue/yellow cons with a yellow sword... |

Have someone craft the sword, and then get it enchanted. Should help a lot.

No, after paying attention more closely to the "fail" rate...it happens most frequently due to the auto attack occuring before you hit the ability key...I believe it acted much differently in Live...like you could have a few seconds to use an ability and it didn't matter if an auto attack just occurred...
Please fix this! ![]() |

at low lvls,.when you have not much points in your weapon spec (also depends if you have enchanted weapon), you will simply miss more than high weapon spec. Some styles have higher bonus to hit than other. ALso there is one of variants things called weapon skill". If you like know more about it,lot of materials can be found.

No...this is not miss rate, it is fail to execute the ability...
There is an issue with the timing on the reactive styles because the AA takes away your chance to use it...on live this is not the case. |

use "back up" styles then

alternatively, take less than 3-4 seconds to press your style button?
i personally press two or three buttons every attack round. on my warr i do: Block Style --> 2nd Chain Style --> 1st Chain Style i've never had a problem of styles not working, except for when i forget and open combat with the above, then it fails. ![]() |
