cannot connect plz help

i have updated daoc, the daoc installation part with the browse under settings says C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot....but under client info it does say Invalid????

doesnt help, dunno if im just plain stupid or what...but iv'e done everything that link said and nothing...loading screen gets to 95% and just stops...i can log on any other server on the portal but i want to play uthgard

ok im gonna download it...but where do i save it to? i dont see no patch folder or anything to replace it with...

Look for game.dll in your daoc folder. Its right there. Just replace it.

i deleted the game.dll....now cant even get the game to load...and now i cant get live servers up either lol

its not deleting the game.dll you was told to replace it with the 1.109 game.dll -> download 1.109.dll game.dll just google it
if you want to keep connecting to live, you should make a copy of your daoc folder. just make 1 version of daoc-live and one for daoc-uthgard. else you have to repatch all the time.  |

i downloaded the new game.dll and replaced it with original 1....but it still doesnt get beyond the 95% when loading in

under settings it does say Invalid you know....but the browse thing says dark age of camelot....like everyone said

ok wait step back a second and refocus
you downloaded the game from mythic. executed the camelot.exe you downloaded the 1.109game.dll you replaced your game dll in the folder with the downloaded one you are using windows 7 you have installed daoc portal while having .net 4.0 installed before you are using windows vista instead you have installed .net 2.0 and than installed daoc portal you start daoc portal 2.7 you can connect. // if you patch the game whilst any of this steps (its not needed but maybe you followed some old tutorial), its needed that you re apply the downloaded game.dll |
