Hi,
I'm new to DAoC and I have a few questions: - What client should I use? SI, Atlantis or what? I installed SI, what's the difference? - I'm using 1.85 client and system keeps telling me to upgrade to 1.82/1.83. Shocked - This is one of the most quoted servers in servers top-100, top-200 but I can see a very few people online (~180), why so few? - I don't understand how to play game, how to talk with guards etc, is there a good manual somewhere? thanx a lot! |

Hello,
1/ Any extension (from toa to dr) 2/ Up to 1.83, there some bug in the craft list over 1.84 due to new receip after that, but you still can play nicely with 1.84. 3/ The average is like that for mostly all server, at least it also depend of the player community, some other server have the same average of players, but the community ignore such voting system. 4/ maybe try F1 or ask an advisor (/adv in game, /who ADV) and /send name hello could you help me to understand the base mechanism of game, i'm totatlly new.) Hope it would help you. Pirith. Last edited by Pirith on Nov 14, 2006 23:33, edited 1 time in total.

it's nearly equal which client you use, as only classic is supported on uth - but e.g. darkness risings got better graphic
1.83 is the version currently *best* supported on uthgard, even if 1.85 is working fine. we are a freeshard - freeshards don't have 1000 people or so, as you may see on daocporatl.net you can't -talk- to every npc, on freeshards even less than on live - but important npcs will have e.g a <Merchant> under their name.. Be nice. :)
