I have been experiencing serious LD problems, going link dead every 30 minutes. As suggested, I have done a tracert, but i do not know what any of it means. Here are my results from 3 tracerts, it seems to hangup after hetzner ?? Anyway, I go LD every 30 minutes, please let me know if there is anything I can do based on this information...

I see! Is there any way for me to manually make my connection go around the trouble spots? Or is that even possible?

No easy solution.

Changing your ISP might change the "route" to the Uthgard server, or using a Proxy. IIRC there was a discussion about "good" and "bad" providers in USA/Canada regarding Uthgard connections. Changing there, or using a Proxy of one of those providers might help.

What do you mean by use a Proxy? How would I do that and is it free?

Since the worst part is within the Providers Net (ie. after the Gateway of Hetzner who hosts the Uthgard-Server):

you are likely to see the packet-drops even after changing your ISP.
Although switching your ISP may result in a better connection to Europe which would benefit your gaming nonetheless.

Go to Start, Run, type in 'cmd' without the '

Then type in

ping -t google.com

And let it keep running as you play. let me know how it goes

Scratch that, after testing for a few days this does not work, still go LD. Guess there is just no getting over the LD problems between Uthgard (and only Uthgard) and cable internet in the USA. Thank you for your suggestion though
