Anyone tried Xfire, yet? I found that from 1.89 the daoc client has ingame xfire support (/xfire command).

Please do not reply with "just use FRAPS" posts. I know the strengths and weaknesses of Fraps, and I like to try out different things to get best results for me.

@GMs: Is this considered 3rd party, or is it OK to use Xfire?

Ok, ty. 240p from a 2560x1440 initial resolution is not really what I intended

I'll give it a try, though, and also Bandicam, just out of curiosity.

Just tested it, works fine in DAOC. Using half size, I got a sharp and basically uncompressed (1GB/min) video in 1280x720.
Probably the automatic upload funtcion of xfire to youtube will heavily compress it, but when recoding/uploading yourself this should not be a problem.

Only problem is that I could not use it lag-free while recording on my external USB2 hard disk. But that will probably change with internal disks.
