'True Shot' realm ability heavily bugged?

Hi Everyone,
today I wanted to share my experiences with the 'True Shot' Realm ability for archer classes (mid: hunter, alb: scout, hib: ranger). I would like to find out, if other archers see the same symptoms or if I'm maybe not using the RA correctly. In theory (as found in many DAOC knowledge bases) 'True Shot' should do the following: The next shot should: a) have 1,5 times the usual range (i.e. 3000 units where you usualy have 2000) b) pierce and deactive 'Blade Turn' Otherwise the shot should be exactly as any other shot. My findings (which were hard to gather, because you can only use this RA every 10 minutes on the first level) are the following: a) If used in combination with critical shot 'True Shot' nearly always misses. b) I doesn't seem to get through blade turn all too often c) Sometimes after I switched to 'True Shot' all targets were out of range, even if I was within 1500 units. This lasted until I got killed and released. d) The 'True Shot' icon doesn't disappear after firing the shot e) Sometimes I had two icons instead of one Did any of you fellow arches experience the same? Do I make something wrong? Did I misinterpret the theory? A lot of questions. Right now I'm thinking of getting rid of 'True Shot' if only I had a respec stone. Any hints are welcome! Have Fun. |

b) My Trueshotsalways pierced bt I think you have to activate Trueshot before readying your Arrow: 1.Trueshot, 2. Load the arrow, 3. Shoot With this it pierces bt and has the right range and the icon disappears correctly. Would be good, though to correct that, so you can activate Trueshot while loading. |
