hey there,
just logged in this morning right before the reboot and killed some mobs...nice camp bonus as usual..after like 3 mobs the server was going down for patching...after reboot there was no camp bonus any longer ![]() I asked blue about this once and he said, camp bonus wasn't saved at shut down...however could you maybe just set the camp bonus to maximum after reboot? it wouldn't really benefit players that actually wholly cleared a camp before the reboot that much but it would be nice for players that switch spots for camp bonus...right now this isnt possible ofc, no important or big issue but i usually play in the morning and often get "hit" by reboots ![]() |

Sure it would be nice. But should it be this way?
Depends on your definition of camp bonus: - Mob that hasn't been killed in a while - Mob that has been alive for a while The difference in those two is apparent when the server reboots. Each npc mob is spawned when the server boots up. The camp bonus is calculated more along the second bullet, though your expectation is in-line with the first bullet. I have a feeling it would be much more than trivial to get full camp bonus immediately after a reboot. Burfo

well, I guess the 2nd mode is the way it is done, but for this issue this doesnt matter...imho the disadvantage of camp-bonus-removal is higher than the "unfair" advantage of camp-bonus-granting after reboot..and it shouldnt be hard to implement...just set the timer or whatever sets the camp bonus (some "alive for X seconds" value, maybe camp bonus is stored directly in the mobs db-entry, dunno) to a higher number and it will be done
![]() some opinion from the staff would be nice ![]() |
