Ok, here's what I has happend so far, I had my friend come over with a disc, with catacombs on it (I do not have dark ages of camelot installed) so I put catacombs in my program files, and he also had the uthgard laucher program along with it and we specified where my program file was and all that so that it could find it, then he told me that all I had to do to create an account was put in a username and password I wanted for the game so I did, and I pressed login and it started running catacombs.

Now here is where my problem is, it shows a dark redish screen with two creatures and it says catacombs in the middle or whatever and it plays the dark age of camelot music.. then it all goes black and continues playing the music, then after a little bit of time it gives me a dont send error. the only things that I could guess would be wrong is that I dont have dark age of camelot installed, or that I didnt do something write with the launcher to load it, or I dont have the correct version (my friend updated it cause I cant cause I have dial up) or I just need something extra in my program files..

sorry for the long message but im really desperate to play again cause this is like, the best freaking game ever and I havent been able to play on uthgard for 4 years cause I couldent update it.

Hm do you have some Downloadvolume free? Dark Age of Camelot can be downloaded from the official site for free. Details are in the sticky threads just a bit up from here.

Did your friend bring along a full catacombs installation or only the catacombs - addon?

i think he cant DL cause modem connection, no adsl or thing like that ^^

do you have a message when you have this screen?

if your computer is old, maybe catacomb isn't well supported.

i connected to live with a modem and didn't experience much lags... so it shouldn't be the fault of the internet connection panach

yeah but to DL daoc i think it ll take years long ^^

my friend brang the full installation of catacombs that he downloaded and I cant download dark ages cause that WOULD infact take years cause it takes me a week just to download 100 megabytes lol.

I really think I just need to install my dark ages from my cds but my friend has them atm.
