Is my account/characters lost?

I have been inactive for some time (3 or 4 months or so) on Uthgard. No worries, I wasn't anyone important. It was honestly my first stop in Uthgard and got a Friar / Cleric to the 30's or so. With that being said, once I did, my computer decided to melt. Was a very, very sad day for me.... I really really REALLY enjoyed my time on Uthgard, people were quite friendly.
Anyhow, whenever I tried to login, it wouldn't let me. 1st thought, weird. Recover Account. Check. Had it right. Try again. Wouldn't let me. 2nd thought, bad stomach feeling of oh no... Password recovery, check. Put in the token, but token is invalid? How strange.. so now I am lost and don't know what to do. I think everything got deleted? I'm always willing to DONATE MORE if need be to recover, LOL. I tried to send the ADMIN a message, but it directs me to NOREPLY@uthgard.net (sadface). If anyone can help or has any useful info that'd be really great. I look forward to your replies, Respectfluffy, Steven If you become irate, angry, wrathful, furious, ireful, wroth or indignent by anything that I say to you or just in general; you should always remember, it's only because I care that I pay attention in the first place.

You can check in the herald if your character is still there.

Thank you for the quick reply. One of them is still there, my smiter. But with that being said, why wouldn't it allow me to login to this website with my account name? Perhaps because I never 'activated' it on the forums? If that's true, it would at least let me log in though, right?... If not I may need to find a way to have an 'activation' link sent to my email...
Any insight is appreciated Cheers Ostdrauka If you become irate, angry, wrathful, furious, ireful, wroth or indignent by anything that I say to you or just in general; you should always remember, it's only because I care that I pay attention in the first place.

Forum account and Game account are not linked with each other so password and accountname may differ.

That may just be the missing link in my dome piece then... thanks! I will definitely try to log on once I get home / install / patch.
With that being said, since forum/game accounts are not linked. If I requested user name here, that isn't going to be my 'login' name correct? Yup, as you can tell I'm really starting to fear I may have forgotten my login. In any case... thank you for the info and if I need more help after install, I will be back. ****UPDATE*****
I now have game & portal installed. I now am in the game. If I want to play a Midgard as well, or Hib, I just make a new account is this correct? Sorry for the nub question I just do not know if there is a settings option that will allow me to have 'multiple realm' toons on the same intro screen. Also, could someone provide a possible link with how to do a quick login? Really appreciate any help all, Ost If you become irate, angry, wrathful, furious, ireful, wroth or indignent by anything that I say to you or just in general; you should always remember, it's only because I care that I pay attention in the first place.

Yes, if you want to play in another realm you are forced to create an additional account.
Creating a Quicklogin: 1. Rightclick on the server in daoc portal 2. Press "Edit Quicklogins" 3. Type in the describtion (no affect on your real account), the account name and the password. If you wish so: Type in a charactername if you want to login a character instantly. Typing in the realm seems trivial on Uthgard. Greetings Aylwynn aylwynn warden
