Hi there,
i had a look around the internet for my lill reaver template. I am going to have the following spec: 50 flex, 42 shield, 41 SR, rest parry. Here comes my question... WHY do people put +11 flex on their templates? will it give any dmg bonus? higher crit chance? WHY do they do it?! if it doenst help anything, why do people do it? +8 i shield would be enough too, right? and +9 SR enough aswell?! Would be nice to get some answers. What + SKILL does to your skills. For SR for example, will the dmg be higher, the reist rate lower? and whats the point of getting anything above lvl 50?!?! Thanks! |

just make an all cap template and dont worry about it!

+skills to weaponspec increases style damage when using styles from your weaponline.
Uthgard till 2003!

and thats like how much more damage?
Are there any studies regarding this? thanks |

I think it lowers the variance of the style/base damage - (not sure what excactly ^^)

More flex skill = more Weaponskill
More shield skill = more weaponskill (higher chance to get a slam through and to block) |

Yip more Weaponskill, even it doesnt work on Uth
Blue also said in a post, that 50+XX also lowers the variance-window |

Go 36 SR and up your parry.
Better to have a considerable passive bonus to parry then a slightly better lt every 30s... +SR gives you a very slight spell dmg boost, whereas +75 piety boosts your spell dmg and your power pool considerably. You cant reduce your variance with +SR because your spec lvl is equal or greater then your spell lvl. Just cap +flex, +shield, and +parry, along with str, dex, con, qui, pie, and you'll be fine. ![]()
