Ok so i started playing on the server yesterday (great server!) My brother decided he wants to get in on the action, and him and his friend downloaded/installed it recently. However while his friend was creating his char, he was booted from the server, (and i was already logged in, so i was booted as well) I'm not banned, i was just kicked... so i went over the rules again and had a hard time deciphering the multi account rule.
Can someone clarify if it's illegal to have multiple accounts on at the same time, if they are different people (on different computers) from the same IP, or if it is just against the rules to run multiple accounts as one person. I assume the latter, but how is this regulated? Do i have to give you all any information from our PC's to ensure there are multiple people playing? Or will staff members just come check up on us or something? I just don't want my account banned because my bro and his buddy want to play at my house.

Multiple people are allowed to play on the same network, but you need to be ready to pass any checks by the GM's to prove you are actually not the same person on two accounts, and if someone needs to AFK, it's safest for them to log out until they're back.

When everyone is playing only one char it's allowed to login as much accounts as you want.
2 players -> 2 accounts - allowed
5 players -> 5 accounts - allowed

2 players -> 3 accounts - NOT allowed!
