Lastname not valid?

Hello!
I tried to register lastname for my char, but it only says that the lastname "isn't valid" or something like that. The lastnames I tried only use the first letter as uppercase and it wasn't offensive in any way. How come I can't register? Cheat will always exist as a penis extender for people who lacks intellect and patience.

The lastname was "Kaffe". It means "Coffee" in swedish.

maybe a stupid question... is your char level 10 or higher?
afaik lastname wasn't possible before the char reaches level 10... greetz Schatz, sollen wir heute grillen?

Naming rules are like dye/model appearance rules, not livelike and made up ad hoc. just take what you can get.

I guess its because of the german word "affe" in it, its "monkey" in english  The rules for lastnames indeed are a little bit odd here, yeah. |

I checked the blacklist and yes "affe" aka monkey is on the list. I removed it.

Torfkopf also isn't possible because of "Kopf".. but why is that word on the list?

Yes Kopf aka Head is much more offending than Affe aka Ape, i agree.

Affe was added because we had seen (too many) silly and offending lastnames. Not only directed at persons but also just rude or inappropriate language. I guess the same goes for Kopf.

Can you give examples please? I can't understand that you forbid the word 'head' (=Kopf) too if someones name is for example 'P*nishead'? It's enough to forbid the other part....

We were picking 80's song titles for last names. And I wanted WegottheBeat for my Bard. Unfortunately God is in the middle of those 4 english words. So I translated it into Irish for a more Hibbish name. But nobody knows what it means when they see it.
