When i go to settings there is no choise, EU or US client. I have US v. Camelot client by default. When I try to log in it gives me the message:

The client could not connect to the server specified. Either it is not online, or you used a wrong ip/port. If these are not the reason, you may try to update your client to an EU version, as this error is also displayed if the client is not supported by the server.



So, how do I change it to EU client?

NO, I did not. I tried it now and its the same problem. Nothing changed

There is no longer an EU client, that is why the option has been removed.

So how do I connect then?

I get the same error messege when I try to connect.. with portal v2.5 and v2.6..
I've not played for 2 weeks or so.. and never had this problem before.

You should be able to connect with the live US client, however I will leave it to the Uthgard staff to tell you if the latest client version is supported.

My other suggestion is that you are not receiving the most current server list, and that you are trying to connect to an older IP.

1.109 should be the current live version, which is supported on Uthgard.

Yes, i have 1.109 version, and I do try to connect how it is described in the link Etaew sent. Its actually the only way I can try to connect. I get the same message. It says acct is invalid and then daoc portal message is that long one i pasted in my first post.

No, do i need to create another account for that?
When i start daoc portal it gives me a message "the default server is currently unavailable. Do you want to use the local server list or do you want to use alternative. If I click NO< i get the following: on this first tab in daoc portal, in the list of "Not Supporting" is Uthgard. If I click yes, I get a message "could not download server list. try again later."

DaocPortal got a problem atm with tuhgard so maybe you should try that:

Daocportal is currently down. If you still want to play, you can do this:

Start daocportal and click on Custom Shards.

Right-click in the window and choose Add Server.

Now fill in:
Name: Uthgard
Description: not needed
IP or Hostname: 88.198.56.21
Port: 10300

Afterwads try to use any account to test if it works and to prevent an bug with your own account if u have one already so e.g.
accname: asd12dsdf
pw: idontknow

If the accountname if wrong or the password is flase you will get a message like password is incorrect or account is already in use while you try to connect.
If you get to the realm and character selection screen than uthgard itself works on your pc and the server is up.

If not you have a connection issue.

YOu know guys, its strange. I just created another acct here, and logged in just fine. I am on the page to create a toon. So, I guess if your train gets stuck at the broken road, and you go back home to take another train same direction there IS a chance to pass the broken spot Thanks all for help.

Forum accounts has nothing to do with ingame accounts

So no need to create a 2nd forum account

Ingame accounts are generated as soon as you type in an unused account name in daoc portal.

The server list was inaccessible due to a bug, I have fixed this for now.
