Hello, I am a new player, and I would like to ask how do you usually use the chat... it is not so obvious, I haven´t found any information on this!!!
![]() I mean, I can left-click on the dialog and I got GUILD:/say, GUILD:/group... Or I can click " ´ " (tilde?) and I get only GUILD: I don´t know why, but now its different, I must have changed something, for it says SAY:/say, SAY:/group... 1) Why does it happen? How do you do it, to do it faster ,before typing the message? And another question, my ingame name is a little long (12 characters), I like my name, but I think it´s too long, thus 2) nobody should send me a message, too much typing? 3) And how do you send messages to people with name and surname? |

Its quite easy once you get used to it. For starters, when you type in /s for say, /g for group, /gu for guild and /as for alliance, you will stay in this channel and type into this channel, unless you change the channel again.
F.e., you logged in fresh and you didn´t type anything yet. By default you will write into public. Now you want to grp and you want to chat with your grp. Its sufficient to type /g xyz. Everything after that will be send into the group channel automatically. So unless you want to send something to your guild/into public/into your alliance you can just type away. The same goes for every channel except trade, lfg and broad. For those you will need to type /trade, /lfg, /b everytime you want to send there. To send messages to ppl that have a surname, you still only need to type in the normal name. Also, once you messaged them, they can reply by simply pressing 'r', same goes for you ofc. Hope that helped ![]() |

you can also define default-channels for chat-windows...I for example have a specific Battle-Group-chat-window, where the BG is default chat...same for guild, group and chatgrp
