DaoC Portal Woes!

Ok i have just installed the full daoc client from the official webpage onto my computer at work. I also installed the DaoC portal. but im getting a few poblems. So on daoc Portal i go Browse and pick the destination folder for daoc, then i go File > Settings and i pick the expansion (since its the FULL client I choose LOTM) and pick my language, before I patch, i notice the ''client info'' box reads US CATACOMBS V. Camelot, but i play from England? does this matter? anyway I patch and everything is ok so far.
Now i try to install the custom patches! SO i press Client > Mod Manager but now i notice the ''client info'' box (similar to the one on the setting screen) is blank and im unable to drag and drop any patches into this screen (Plugins). I use windows 7 home premium, and i have tried opening daoc portal with admin rights (this was the only way i coud patch - since i get the Access to the path C;\progmramme files x86/electronic arts blah blah is denied)) so any help would be awsome! |

now the problem gets worse! I've uninstalled the daoc portal and tried a fresh install, so i downloaded the daocportalsetup from the internet, but now when i install it there is NO option to run with administrator mode! I have not turned my PC off since my last post. or switched user

Please uninstall and install DAoCPortal on other drive than C:

i have installed it now on 3 seperate drives, still no success! I noticed when i open daoc portal it says i play with US DARKNESS V.Camelot dispite being from the UK.
i cant copy the files into the mods folder, i cant click and drop them into the window, wih admin mode. Im at a loss, at home everything works fine, but for work PC, its not happening, its a stand alone PC that i set up myself so its iscolated from the network, i have full admin rights etc^ |

There is no UK client.
Also I dont see the problem why you can't copy the mods into the mods folder. This is basic filehandling of the OS and has nothing to do with DAoCPortal. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

Is that how you do it? I always created a sub-folder /mods in the DAoC Portal folder and moved the .dmm files there.  |
